Rehabilitation

The Lasher Family Rehabilitation Center is fully-equipped with advanced equipment enabling patients to achieve optimal results. It is conveniently located in the Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center.

Clients can receive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy from our dedicated team of over 20 skilled professionals. Outpatient clients have dedicated parking spaces within steps of the entrance to the Rehabilitation Center.

In an atmosphere of dignity and encouragement, we customize care based on each patient’s individual needs. Specific services in our long-term, short-term and outpatient rehabilitation program include:

Renew YOU® - Short term rehabilitation

Renew You ® provides an intensive and supportive short–stay program in the Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center designed for people recovering from surgery, an illness or an injury when hospitalization is no longer needed. Our dedicated staff of highly trained professionals encourages clients to build strength, independence, agility and confidence allowing them to return home quickly. Prior to our clients returning home, our staff visits the client’s home to do a safety evaluation, to ensure that the transition goes safely.

(Residents of The Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence utilize the Rehabilitation Center in the Samson Nursing Center, which is located across the street on the St. Petersburg campus. The Inn on the Pond assisted living community in Clearwater, features its own rehabilitation center.)
