A LETTER FROM ROB GOLDSTEIN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AT MENORAH MANOR

Several months ago, I announced my upcoming retirement from Menorah Manor. It’s hard to believe but that day is fast approaching. The Menorah Manor Board of Trustees has selected our new CEO, Robert Becht, who will join us on Monday, February 15th. The press release announcement (posted on our News & Information page) will provide you with an introduction to Mr. Becht. I look forward to helping him get off to a great start. I’ll be available for several months, on a part-time basis, to assist with a smooth transition. I know he is excited to join our wonderful organization. I wish him and Menorah tremendous success in the future.

I clearly remember interviewing at Menorah Manor in December 1996 and beginning employment on February 19, 1997. It’s a strange coincidence that my last full day will be February 19, 2021, exactly 24 years after I started.

What a pleasure it has been to serve our residents, staff, families, volunteers and community for the past 24 years. It’s impossible to put into words the mixed emotions that I’m feeling.  The relationships I’ve established with each and every one of you have been so fulfilling. There have been many milestones and accomplishments; the memories are overflowing. I will cherish them forever.

Our founders committed themselves to a mission and purpose that continues to remain strong.  Menorah Manor will continue to be an example of excellence in senior care. I could not be more proud of our collective efforts. As I enter this new chapter of my life, I look forward to the continued success of Menorah Manor, safety and well-being for you and your family, and continued friendship.

All the best,

Rob
