On January 29, 2016, Lani Jenkins was named CARE Employee of the Year. Lani is an Activity Assistant for the Bresler Alzheimer's Program at The Marion and Bernard L. Samson Nursing Center. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a BSH in Health and Wellness and a physical therapist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine.
Lani does an outstanding job of assisting with the planning and implementation of all activities for the Bresler Program. Lani is quick to intervene when a resident with dementia is under distress and does so in a creative and patient manner. She has branched out over the years, and is now the official caller for Yiddish Lotto. Lani also conducts Word Find and sets up for the weekly Shabbat Services. She is a long-standing member of Menorah Manor's Safety Committee.
Lani is courteous to everyone she meets, and always demonstrates a positive attitude. She always asks, "Can I help?" Lani shows respect for all. Her ethics are beyond reproach.
