Since its opening in 1985, Menorah Manor has provided quality, compassionate services to seniors in a welcoming setting where independence is fostered, choices honored, and traditions preserved. As a Jewish, community sponsored, not for profit healthcare organization, its mission is “to provide the best possible care in a warm, homelike Jewish environment.”
Menorah Manor takes care of seniors by providing a complete system of care with programs, such as:
- Skilled Nursing
- Assisted Living
- Adult Day Care
- Specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
- Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation
The emphasis is on providing the most appropriate care in the most appropriate location.
Menorah Manor maintains a rich tradition of Jewish customs and observances. All Jewish holidays are observed in the Samson Nursing Center, the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence and The Inn on the Pond. This includes weekly Shabbat dinner and services.
The Spiritual Care Program is overseen by Menorah Manor’s full-time rabbi and director of spiritual care, Rabbi Leah M. Herz, MAHL.
Whether it is a Passover Seder, Shabbat dinner, or a special Chanukah celebration, family members are always invited to enjoy holiday dinners with their loved ones and to attend services.
