Our Mission

Our Mission

To provide the best possible care in a warm, homelike, Jewish environment. Menorah Manor serves people of all faiths.

To be the provider of choice by enhancing the lives of seniors through compassion, innovation and service excellence.

We engage in Tikkun Olam (healing the world) by caring for the elderly, inspired by Jewish values:

  • Kavod: Treating others with honor, dignity and respect
  • Hesed: Performing acts of kindness, compassion and caring
  • Tzedek: Doing what is right through leadership, service excellence, integrity and stewardship
  • Limud: Learning and growing personally and professionally with a commitment to innovation

Since our opening in 1985, we have provided quality, compassionate services to seniors in a welcoming setting where independence is fostered, choices honored, and traditions preserved. As a community sponsored, not-for-profit healthcare organization, our mission is to provide the best possible care in a warm, homelike environment.

We take care of our seniors by providing a complete system of care with programs, such as:

  • Skilled Nursing
  • Assisted Living
  • Adult Day Care
  • Specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
  • Rehabilitation

The emphasis is on providing the most appropriate care in the most appropriate location.

Menorah Manor maintains a rich tradition of Jewish customs and observances. All Jewish holidays are observed in the Samson Nursing Center and the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence. This includes weekly Shabbat dinner and services.

The Spiritual Care Program is overseen by our full-time rabbi and director of spiritual care, Rabbi Aaron M. Lever, BCC. Whether it is a Passover Seder, Shabbat dinner, or a special Chanukah celebration, family members are always invited to enjoy holiday dinners with their loved ones and to attend services.
